Lydia Gray, DVM, MA
Dr. Lydia Gray is a lifelong horse owner who holds her DVM, as well as her BSc in Agriculture & Animal Science and her MA in Communication. She has been an associate veterinarian at a mixed practice, Program Coordinator for the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, Director of Owner Education for the American Association of Equine Practitioners (AAEP), and Executive Director of the Hooved Animal Humane Society. Throughout her 16-year career with SmartPak, Lydia provided horse health and nutrition education through a variety of channels, directed supplement research, led new product development, served as regulatory compliance officer, and was responsible for the company’s veterinary marketing. Lydia both competes in and judges dressage and combined driving, and is looking forward to bringing out a new horse soon, the five-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding, “Stan Lee.”
